Hey there

My name is Taylor and I am a software engineer. I love teaching, reading, and other menacing activities. I currently live in Seattle with my husband and two dogs.

I am a senior engineer at Redfin where I work to improve the iOS application every day.

I worked at Microsoft on the Office Graphics shared team. I worked specifically on the iOS and Mac versions of the Office Suite. Some of the work I did that you might be familiar with include inking on Mac (including the ink tools on the touchbar RIP) in the Office suite and the ink refresh on iOS. I was also the graphics engineer that helped enable the adoption of the UISceneDelegate to enable multiple windows on iPadOS.

I attended Georgia Tech where I received my B.S. in Computer Science with concentrations in Artificial Intelligence and Modeling and Simulation. I graduated with highest honors and in my last year was selected as the Outstanding Senior in the College of Computing. Additionally, I was a teaching assistant and head teaching assistant for our Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming course (CS1331) where I lead lectures, aided in setting grading rubrics for exams and homework, and provided one-on-one tutoring for students. Being a teaching assistant for this course at Georgia Tech is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had the pleasure of partaking in.
